As the owner of Pugh Real Estate Group, LLC, Michael Pugh has more than 15 years of real estate appraisal experience and nearly 20 years of mortgage industry experience with both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Michael is a member of the Appraisal Institute and holds a certified general license in the state of Maryland & West Virginia. He earned a BA Degree in Political Science from Auburn University and an MBA from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Michael is experienced in a wide range of real estate valuation and consulting including expert witness testimony.

Cara Keys

Cara Keys is a Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia Certified General Appraiser with over nine years experience in the field.   As a Jefferson County resident, she is the head appraiser for our office serving MD, VA, & WV focusing along the I-81 corridor.   She is a third generation Pugh Appraiser with a passion for Real Estate.  She is experienced in a wide range of commercial and agricultural properties.  She holds a BA in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park.   Cara has been a Rotarian since 2015 and is a current member of the Shepherdstown Rotary Club.

Janine Pettay

Janine is a Maryland Certified General Appraiser with seven years’ experience in the field. Prior to joining Pugh Real Estate Group, she had over 10 years’ experience in the chemical industry. She earned a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University at Buffalo. Janine has been an active member of local PTA’s and a Girl Scout troop leader for over eight years. She has a wide range of real estate valuation experience in commercial properties throughout central and western Maryland.
